The intersection between intercultural psychology and the systemic approach constitutes a new way of understanding the reality of migrants and their descendants.

The concepts, orientations, and hypotheses concerning family relationships among migrants, as well as strategies for articulating multiple daily cultural affiliations, are addressed.

Objectives

Raise awareness among professionals about the impact of migration on migrants and their families. Address the issue of cultural difference. Stimulate the welcoming potential of professionals to build a climate of security that is essential to the helping relationship.
